Railway Sleepers

Patios

We can also use wood to break up your hard landscaping or incorporate structural timbers such as new or reclaimed railway sleepers as an alternative to traditional hard landscaping materials we find the soft hues in our oak sleepers go hand in hand with sandstone patios and reclaimed bricks. Either used as a feature or as a structural part of the build we find sleepers can become an integral part of any job.

As we promote the use of natural and original materials in our hard landscaping, we are very experienced with traditional methods and can source many rare and bespoke materials and products from antique reclaimed or natural materials, to modern state of the art high technology materials.
We offer the following hard landscaping services:

Patios are a great extension to any house and will greatly increase the use of any garden. It is important to consider the appropriate size, shape and choice of materials to blend naturally with the whole garden plan before construction. Numerous types of flagstones are now available on the market including, natural Indian sandstone, re-constituted concrete, limestone and slate, to name but a few. With ever changing trends, Natural stone has become very popular particularly for its enduring quality. Also, by its very nature, it has gentle colour variations that will blend with any home as is illustrated in our portfolio. Reclaimed paving materials are also very desirable we use reclaimed York Stone extensively in many of our gardens along with reclaimed cobbles and sets.

Circles and curves can add to any paving design and can break up large patios and driveways adding depth character, and a focal point.
